The Problem
OpenPR, a major press release distribution platform, needed performance optimization to handle their massive traffic and content volume. With 200K+ press releases, database queries were slow, search was unreliable, and page load times had degraded significantly.
The Solution
Implemented ElasticSearch for lightning-fast full-text search across 200K+ press releases, configured Redis caching layer for frequently accessed pages, optimized MySQL database with proper indexing and query refactoring, and set up Cloudflare CDN with custom page rules for optimal caching strategies.
The Outcome & Metrics
Platform handles 1M+ monthly page views with sub-1.5s load times. Search query response time improved from 4s to 200ms with ElasticSearch. Domain Authority maintained at 78 with continuous technical SEO optimization.
