The Problem
The Pakistani market lacked a modern, reliable e-commerce marketplace that could handle multiple vendors, diverse product categories, and secure payment processing while maintaining fast load times on slower mobile connections common in South Asia.
The Solution
Developed a full MERN stack marketplace with multi-vendor architecture, Redux Toolkit for state management, Stripe payment integration, real-time inventory tracking with MongoDB change streams, and optimized image delivery for low-bandwidth connections. Built a comprehensive vendor dashboard for order and product management.
The Outcome & Metrics
Platform launched with 5,000+ product listings across 20+ categories. Maintained 1.8s average load time even on 3G connections. Achieved 99.5% uptime with MongoDB replica set configuration and PM2 process management.
